Ladies love Jon Casey Blues

Maybe it was the sharp suit jacket he was wearing. Maybe it was the superb and eloquent guitar solos he was playing. Maybe it was the unique and original medleys of some Hendrix and other blues classics he was arranging. But whatever his secret, Jon Casey Blues had the ladies (and most of the rest of the crowd) absolutely eating out of his hand at the Bike’N’Hound this last Friday.

Foot-stomping to an earthy rendition of The Huntsman, wildly air-guitaring to a superb Hey Joe and rattling the tables hard to John-Lee Hooker it was a corking night of superb blues from the incredibly affable and humble Jon Casey.

A lot of very happy (and merry) people left Hamnett Street on Friday, and who can blame them? It was a great evening’s entertainment.
