Well it has to be said, Maximum Torque really did live up to their name.
With the volume set somewhere around 17 and energy off the scale, they swiftly got the crowd up dancing. Top tune after top tune echoed around the hallowed walls of the Bike’N’Hound – then add to that a wonderfully performative and animated front-man, a healthy dose of Old Rosie (not looking at anyone in particular) and some audience participation the night bore all the hallmarks of the best night’s at the Bike.
And with Maximum Torque finishing only 15 minutes shy of ‘the best bands’ – it certainly was.
Roll on 2015 boys – can’t wait to have you back.
